NO FREQUENCY - NO PROBLEM!
Recruited by 92.7 FM 12 years ago, Brother Ken took over Operations of the then "Classic Rock 92.7" Immediately giving the Radio Station an Identity by creating the name, the look and the sound that would become "92-7 THE ZOO" The Zebra striped Logo became famous and was highly sought after by fans for stickers, T-shirts, License plates etc. The sound was programmed for Classic Rock but not afraid of the softer Love songs or the Newer Rock that wasn't "Thrash" or "Rap" The Radio Station grew by leaps and bounds overnight and simply dominated the Market for years. The air staff known as "The ZOO Crew" was in high demand for live events and public appearances.
Forward to January, 2009, After new ownership by a group called Rocking M Radio Inc. and new Station Management, The decision was to axe 92-7 THE ZOO despite the Number 1 rating and turn 92-7 into an "All Talk" Sports station.
92.7 THE ZOO met it's untimely and painful death on January 15th 2009 and the impending demise of it's Leader was imminent. February 4th 2009 Brother Ken was released from duties and became a Free Agent. Immediately Recruited By Europe's BHL Radio to be "The Voice" of their Radio Station, The Largest Streaming Station on The Planet. After agreeing to do Pro Voiceovers as well as a two hour "International House Of Rock" two days a week, it has now progressed to a Broadband stream second to none! ZOO92.COM was created due to the public outcry for Rock and Brother Ken... Launched to the public on March 20th 2009 is what Rockers have come to expect over the years, Daily, Mornings with Brother Ken from 6-9 AM, The All Request Rock Hour from 9-10 AM, followed by The International House Of Rock from 10-12 Noon, streaming from Salina, Kansas and across The World. The Station features Requests and Dedications 24 Hours a day, 7 Days a week!
